The First Flight..

Air Sahara was born & gained freedom of the Indian skies with the launch of the Open Sky Policy by the Government of India in 1990s.

The first flight took off from Delhi to Mumbai on 3rd December, 1993 in a Boeing 737 aircraft.

Air Sahara with 9th year of successful commercial operations has become India’s premier domestic Airline. We cover 13 destinations with 61 flights offering 8000 seats per day with a current fleet strength of 11 latest generations Boeing aircraft.

We have placed tremendous importance on Customer Satisfaction. It is because of these efforts that we have been honoured with prestigious awards like “Pacific Area Travel Writers Association” Award (2001 & 1997), World Travel Market Global Award (1997), Diamond Award (1999) and International Food Services Association (IFSA) Award (1998).
